iTunes for windows, Audio lags during video playback

 

Edit -> Preferences

Playback tab

try changing Play audio using from "Windows Audio Session" to "Direct Sound"

Restart iTunes

The problem is back, after some time. I reduced the quality (Maximum resolution) from 1080p to 720p and this seems to be helping much better

try changing Maximum resolution from High Definition (1080p) to High Definition (720p)
